Calvin R. Rasey graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree.

He entered into the Insurance and Financial Services field by joining his family owned and operated firm, Physicians Financial Services. Calvin’s focus was on Own Occupation Disability Insurance, leading him to the position of Vice president of Resident Financial Affairs and working with residents from University of Louisville, University of Kentucky, and Indiana University. Since joining Physicians Financial Services Calvin has helped countless residents and in-practice Physicians obtain Own Occupation Disability plans that provide protection for their personal and practice needs.

In 2005, Calvin took over Physicians Financial Services with the idea of making a full service financial planning firm focusing on Physicians personal and business needs.

Calvin put together a team of financial planners, attorneys, CPAs, and employee benefits specialists serving not only Kentucky, but 42 other states across the Nation.

Calvin specializes in Estate Planning, Asset Protection, and Tax Reduction, providing clients with the most up to date and tested strategies and concepts to help meet their personal goals. In 2006, he earned an Accelerated Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from Bellarmine University. He has been published in several Medical and Professional Financial journals with articles he has written regarding financial planning. Calvin frequently gives lectures to Medical Associations, Physician’s Practices, and Residency Program students regarding financial planning options and benefits.

Calvin resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife Tarah and their two sons. Trinton, age 24 is a middle school history teacher with JCPS, and Whit, age 16 is striving to be an engineer if his football career doesn’t pan out. The Rasey’s are active members of St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church. They spend their time volunteering with several local charities and enjoy spending time together as a family.
